Receptionist/Clerical Assistant

Overview

Could you be the Receptionist Assistant we are looking for?  Are you a hardworking, enthusiastic professional who enjoys working with children and loves working in a team where every day brings a new challenge?

Newlands Primary School is seeking to recruit two part-time Receptionist Assistants:

Morning role: 8:00am – 10:00/10:30am, Monday to Friday (term time only) Finish time negotiable

Afternoon role: 2:00/2:30pm - 4:30pm, Wednesday to Friday (term time only) Start time negotiable

These are two separate positions, but we would also consider appointing one person to cover both roles.

Experience of working in an office, reception role is desirable but full training will be given.  Confidentiality is a key element of this post.

Personal attributes

Working in a primary school requires flexibility, adaptability and a good sense of humour. Experience of working in an office, reception role is desirable but full training will be given.  Confidentiality is a key element of this post.

Salary & Benefits

Salary (Grade 4, SCP5, FTE £24,790):

Morning role (10–12.5 hrs per week): Actual salary £5,746 – £7,183

Afternoon role (6–7.5 hrs per week): Actual salary £3,448 – £4,309

These are two separate positions, but if one person were appointed to cover both roles, the salaries would be combined.
